Depending on your arrival time, take a 4hr drive to Bwindi impenetrable park: on the way you will discover why Rwanda is called the land of 1000 Hills as the drive takes you through to Uganda; you will be able to see the 5 volcano peaks and the amazing farming on the steep slopes.
Arrival by evening: dinner and
After your early morning breakfast, your guide will drive you to Ruhija Park Headquarters for briefing and joining others for briefing before heading into the forest for your gorilla trek. This trek can last for between 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on the location of mountain gorilla family on that particular day. Once you find the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them while observing their behaviour, taking photographs before you return to the Park Headquarters for your certificate that confirms that you have tracked gorillas in Uganda.
Dinner and Overnight.
After breakfast we start the day starts with a tour of the city. First head to Nyamata and visit the mellinium Village, return for the rest of the tour of Kigali, Named in 1907 by Dr. Richard Kandt, the first colonial resident governor of Rwanda; Kigali city is surrounded by lush hills of green and is referred to as the land of a thousand hills. Get to visit interesting spots which may include; the craft market, Gisozi genocide memorial site & Museum of Art for presidential museum.
